Saraki Rules Out 2027 Bid, Backs PDP to Reclaim Kwara

Former Senate President and ex-Kwara State Governor, Bukola Saraki, has announced that he will not contest any elective position in the 2027 general elections. The prominent political figure made this declaration during an appearance on Politics Today, signalling a shift in his personal political ambitions while reaffirming his commitment to party politics.

Saraki stated clearly that he would neither run for the presidency nor seek a return to the Senate, putting to rest speculation about his potential candidacy.
