Thousands of residents and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters reportedly turned out across Ogun Central on Wednesday as the party formally launched its campaign activities for the 2027 presidential and National Assembly elections. She previously served as Ogun State Commissioner for Health before representing Ogun Central in the Senate from 2007 to 2011. In 2026, she briefly joined the APC before resigning and returning to the PDP, where she was subsequently unveiled as the party’s Ogun Central senatorial candidate.
