IPMAN has instructed its members who have not yet registered with the Dangote Refinery to complete the process immediately. The association said this move is in preparation for the commencement of direct supply of petroleum products by the refinery starting Monday, September 15, 2025.
IPMAN, in a memo jointly signed by its National President, Alhaji Abubakar Maigandi, and National Secretary, Hon. James Terlumun Tor, emphasized that members who have already registered should proceed to make payments to the refinery in readiness for product loading and supply.
IPMAN Confirms Direct Supply from Dangote Refinery
IPMAN confirmed that Dangote Refinery will begin product loading and delivery directly to buyers’ locations across Nigeria from Monday. The association noted that this development is expected to change the dynamics of petroleum distribution in the country by reducing dependence on intermediaries.
IPMAN stated that members who renewed their membership in line with the 2009 amended constitution are eligible to take part in the new supply arrangement. Those who have not yet registered with Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals Co. Ltd have been urged to do so promptly to avoid being excluded.
IPMAN Highlights Industry Impact and Opportunities
IPMAN described the refinery’s readiness to begin supply as a historic development for the Nigerian petroleum sector. By linking independent marketers directly with the refinery, the association said fuel supply is expected to become more efficient, cost-effective, and widely accessible.
IPMAN further explained that since its members account for a significant share of Nigeria’s retail fuel distribution, their participation will ensure products from the refinery reach communities nationwide. Industry watchers believe the new arrangement could help stabilize supply and reduce the frequency of scarcity across the country.
