Oba Rashidi Ladoja Declares Tinubu Winning War Against Kidnapping, Critics Demand More Evidence

Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as significant progress in tackling kidnapping and other security challenges across Nigeria. The revered monarch said the President’s administration has demonstrated renewed determination in confronting criminality, restoring public confidence and strengthening the nation’s security architecture.

The traditional ruler made the remarks during an engagement with President Tinubu, where he praised the Federal Government’s efforts to improve security through intensified operations by the armed forces and other security agencies. According to him, while security challenges have not been completely eliminated, the government’s actions have helped reverse the trend of kidnapping and violent crimes in many parts of the country.

Commendation for Security Efforts

Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja noted that the Tinubu administration has shown commitment to protecting Nigerians by equipping security agencies and encouraging greater collaboration among the military, police and intelligence services. He said the sustained pressure on criminal groups has contributed to improved security and renewed hope among citizens.
