Chief of Protocol Abdullahi Rogo disclosed that a high-level political meeting involving the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly and key members of the Kwankwasiyya movement ended with a consensus that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf should align with the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Abdullahi Rogo explained that the discussions were driven by strategic considerations about Kano State’s political future and its positioning within Nigeria’s national power structure, stressing that the outcome reflected collective reasoning rather than individual ambition.

Abdullahi emphasized that the agreement emerged after extensive deliberations among influential stakeholders who believe that joining the APC would offer Kano State greater leverage at the federal level and enhance access to political and developmental opportunities.
