WAEC students for Asaba open mouth gawk when dem reach exam hall come see say no light dey. One student shout, “Na wetin be this? We come write WAEC or join Boy Scouts camping?” Everywhere dark like NEPA get heartbreak. Dem no even see blackboard, talkless of see their future.
WAEC students begin use torchlight and phone light do exam. Some hold light with one hand, write with the other, like say na James Bond mission. One girl talk say, “Na me hold torchlight for my friend, she go hold for me later. We dey do ‘torchlight turn-by-turn’.” Another guy complain say his torchlight low battery, so he dey guess answers with faith and small luck.
WAEC students say dem feel like dem dey inside “Survivor Nigeria: Exam Edition.” One boy even talk say, “If dem fit give us certificate after this, dem suppose write ‘Passed under pressure and darkness’ for am.” Teachers just dey pity dem, but nothing fit change as NEPA no gree on.

The students begin ask if this na how Delta State dey represent education. “If this na capital, I fear for the village WAEC candidates,” another student talk. “Government need to dey serious. WAEC Students Vex: “Na So Our Future Wan Start?”
WAEC students still never calm down as dem waka comot exam hall. “If na so WAEC be, make dem tell us early make we go learn trade,” one boy fire. “We no fit suffer for six years of school come still dey struggle to see question paper.” The level of frustration high like NEPA bill.
The students dey demand answers. “Make government talk true—na poor planning or dem no rate us at all?” One girl wey cry small during exam say her eyes don pain her from torchlight glare. “I no sure whether I write essay or draw diagram,” she lament. “Everything bend because my light no strong.”
The students don vow to carry the matter go online and even organize campaign. “If una no fit give us light to write exam, no come mark us with red pen,” one guy warn. “We go drag una like generator rope until una fix this nonsense.”
