Tinubu’s Former Classmate came out of the woods responding to ongoing controversies regarding President Bola Tinubu‘s academic records, public affairs analyst Durojaiye Ogunsanya has confirmed that he and Tinubu graduated together from Chicago State University (CSU) in 1979.

The statement comes as some political opponents demand proof of Tinubu’s educational claims, and even former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, a major contender in the 2023 presidential election, has filed a lawsuit in an American court requesting CSU to produce Tinubu’s academic record.

He firmly asserted, “Tinubu did attend the university and graduated in 1979, just as I did. So I’m here to testify that he did attend the university, and he was a good student.”

Addressing the skepticism surrounding Tinubu’s graduation, Ogunsanya commented, “People were being mischievous in the first place. Because he served as a governor for eight years and worked for Mobil for several years, disputing that he didn’t attend university seems implausible. I cannot fathom how that could be possible.”
