President Bola Tinubu is currently leading the inaugural session of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting within his administration. The meeting is taking place at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja.

It’s worth recalling that President Bola Tinubu took the oath of office on May 29. Subsequently, his newly appointed cabinet members were formally inaugurated last Monday after receiving confirmation from the Senate, in accordance with their constitutional duties.

The cabinet comprises a total of 45 ministers who successfully navigated the screening process, while three other nominees were not granted clearance.

Notable attendees at this first FEC gathering include Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senator George Akume, who holds the position of Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, and Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President.
