The kingdom of Ogwashi-Uku finally breathe fresh air on Tuesday as Supreme Court knock last nail for the throne wahala coffin for Delta State. For years, the kingship matter dey drag like old generator wey no get oil. But now, everybody don dey smile as court throway the latest appeal wey come from the UmuDieyi family.
Pipu wey dey this beautiful Delta State town don see shege because of the kingship matter. Some pipu dey support one family, another group dey support another – the tension don almost reach World War Yoruba movie level. But as the court don gavel hammer reach final bus stop, everybody gree say peace don land.
E no easy at all. From High Court to Appeal Court, then finally Supreme Court – the matter waka like person wey dey look for SIM card inside rain. But thank God say common sense and justice finally win. Now, Ogwashi-Uku don get chance to face progress and celebration.

The kingdom of Ogwashi-Uku hear better tori from Supreme Court wey clear the air: the throne na for Obi Ifechukwude Aninshi Okonjo II – full stop, no comma. The court sharply dismiss the UmuDieyi family appeal like expired biscuit. Dem say this one na final bus stop for legal waka.

The kingdom of Ogwashi-Uku no dull at all. As court matter settle, dem enter full celebration mode. From palace to village square, everywhere burst like Detty December. Drummers dey beat like say dem wan wake Shango, women dey shake body with wrapper tie reach chest.
The king, Obi Ifechukwude, step out with royal smile wey fit cure blood pressure. E thank everybody for their patience and tell the kingdom say this na time to unite. Even him dance small, make e show say joy no be only for mouth.
The funniest part na when one masquerade try do backflip and land for bush, but no wahala – spirit of celebration still dey. Ogwashi-Uku don enter new chapter, and this time around, na chapter of unity, tradition, and enjoyment. Who no wan better kingdom?
