In a shocking revelation, the Sokoto State Committee for the Review of Wasteful and Unnecessary Government Assets disclosed on Thursday that a staggering 745 government vehicles were taken by appointees of the immediate past governor, Aminu Tambuwal. The committee, led by Alhaji Jelani Kalgo, presented its findings to Governor Ahmed Aliyu, outlining a disturbing pattern of misappropriation and embezzlement.

The committee’s report detailed that out of the 745 vehicles, a mere 32 were recovered, leaving a significant gap in accountability.
