Seyi Awolowo Declares : I’ll Never Go Back to Big Brother House Even if Given a Chance

Seyi Awolowo Declares : I’ll Never Go Back to Big Brother House Even if Given a Chance

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Seyi Awolowo, has stated categorically that his time with the popular reality TV franchise is permanently over. Speaking during a recent podcast conversation, the grandson of the late nationalist and statesman, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, explained that he has moved past the Big Brother chapter of his life and has no intention of returning to the show under any circumstance.

When asked whether he would consider rejoining the BBNaija house if given the opportunity, Seyi Awolowo’s response was emphatic. According to him, his participation in the competition was an important part of his personal growth, but it is not something he would ever revisit. “If you go back to Big Brother House, which will never happen again for this life — it will never happen again. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. I don collect my L, I don grow out of my loss. No need for the past,” he said firmly.

The actor and model clarified that while the show played a role in shaping his story, he has chosen to focus on new opportunities and challenges. He stressed that he has already extracted the lessons he needed from the experience and has no regrets about how his journey unfolded.

Reflections on His Time in the House

Seyi Awolowo also reflected on the highs and lows of his time as a BBNaija housemate. He admitted that although the show gave him massive exposure, it also exposed him to intense criticism and backlash. According to him, much of the negative energy came from individuals who sought to misunderstand or misrepresent him. He described himself as having been “bullied by insignificant and uneducated people,” and added that even some educated individuals chose to ignore the truth for their own convenience.

Despite the controversies, Seyi Awolowo maintained that he would not change anything about the way he played the game. He explained that every decision he made during his time in the house, whether popular or unpopular, was part of his authentic journey. For him, BBNaija is already a closed chapter and one that he is content to leave behind.

Interestingly, Seyi Awolowo did not dismiss the entire BBNaija platform. He joked that the only scenario that might bring him back in any capacity would be if Big Brother called him to replace Ebuka Obi-Uchendu as the host. Even then, he said it humorously, making it clear that his days as a contestant are over.

Moving Forward Beyond Reality TV

For Seyi Awolowo, life after Big Brother Naija is about growth, purpose, and carving out his own path away from the spotlight of the competition. He emphasized that dwelling on the past is unnecessary, as he is now focused on evolving in his personal and professional journey. He believes that the lessons he learned, coupled with the challenges he faced, have prepared him for greater responsibilities outside reality television.

He further acknowledged that fame comes with both praise and criticism, but insisted that he is better equipped to handle both sides now. By drawing a firm line under his BBNaija experience, Seyi Awolowo signaled to fans and critics alike that he is ready to be known for more than just his time in the house.

His declaration has sparked conversations online, with fans sharing mixed reactions. While some praised his boldness and decision to move forward, others felt he should embrace his BBNaija past more positively. Regardless, Seyi has made it clear that his focus remains on building a legacy beyond the walls of the reality TV house.
