Remi Tinubu Don Shout Say Shortage of Teachers Na National Emergency

First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, don raise alarm say the serious shortage of teachers across the country na problem wey need quick attention. She talk this one during one education summit wey happen for Abuja, as she call on both federal and state governments to treat the matter like national emergency.

According to her, the foundation of every great nation na strong education system, but without enough qualified teachers, that foundation go weak. She yarn say the teacher population for many schools don reduce drastically and that one don affect the quality of learning for plenty students.

Remi Tinubu talk say, “If we no fix the shortage of teachers now, the future of our children go dey at risk. Government must act fast to save education from total collapse.”

Remi Tinubu Call on Government and Stakeholders to Act Fast

The First Lady beg all stakeholders — from Ministry of Education, local governments to private organizations — make dem join hand tackle the problem once and for all. She talk say e no go make sense if new classrooms dey build every year but no teachers to teach the students.

She also challenge education colleges and teacher training institutions to revive their programs and make the profession attractive again, especially to young Nigerians. Remi Tinubu believe say if better salary, respect, and proper welfare dey, many people go return to teaching.

According to her, “Teacher na builder of destiny. If we no take care of dem, we dey destroy the very future we dey try to secure.”

Remi Tinubu Promise Support to Boost Education

Remi Tinubu still assure say her office through the Renewed Hope Initiative go continue to support programs wey dey promote quality education and teacher training. She say the initiative don already start working with some states to sponsor more teachers and provide digital learning tools.

She also urge private sector to partner with government by adopting schools and supporting teacher development projects. According to her, education no be only government work — e require everybody hand to build.

The First Lady conclude say if Nigeria fit solve the teacher shortage problem, e go automatically raise the standard of education nationwide and bring back the lost glory of learning.
