The cabinet comprises a total of 45 ministers who successfully navigated the screening process, while three other nominees were not granted clearance.
Notable attendees at this first FEC gathering include Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senator George Akume, who holds the position of Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, and Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President.

During the ministerial swearing-in ceremony on August 21, President Bola Tinubu underscored the paramount importance of restoring public confidence in the government.
