Imam Sheikh Don Yan Say: Any Politician Wey No Gree for Shariah Courts, Make Muslim No Vote Am

Last Friday, Sheikh Dr. Ridwan Jamiu, the Chief Imam of Lekki Central Mosque, no hold back during the Jumaat sermon. Him say, as election time dey near, any governorship candidate wey wan carry your vote must first sign contract to bring Shariah courts to their state. Shariah Courts: Na Your Right, No Let Am Pass

Sheikh Jamiu no just stop for the election talk; him also remind everybody say the Nigerian Constitution get clear laws wey talk about Shariah. “Na 73 times the Constitution mention Shariah,” the Imam clarify, saying Sections 38 and 40 guarantee freedom of religion. So, why we go still dey beg to get Shariah courts in the Southwest? E no make sense!
