Na real gbege happen for Nkpolu community inside Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State as youths catch one police officer plus two other men wey dey flex with hard drugs. Instead make dem report go station, dem carry cane straight and flog dem for everybody eye.
The police officer sef no deny say na true. Him even show him ID card wey carry him name, Joshua Eyong. But that one no stop the whip wey land for him body as youths talk say “campaign na campaign, uniform no be excuse.”
People for community wey see the drama begin shout say e be like film, but the youths serious say dem no go allow drugs scatter their town again.

Nkpolu Youths Launch ‘No to Drug Abuse’ Campaign

The Nkpolu youths no dey play. According to their youth president, Owhonda Chamberlain, dem don start better campaign wey dem call “No to Drug Abuse”. Him yarn say the thing no be small matter, because plenty pikin for the area don lose house, sell property and even scatter family all because of hard drugs.

Him talk say e don reach the level wey person go use drugs of ₦3 million, then sell him papa house for ₦4 million just to balance the dealer. At the end of the day, drug dealer go give am ₦1 million change. Na pure madness be that one, Chamberlain vex talk.
The Nkpolu youths say dem no wan gree again. Anybody wey wan smoke or sell drugs, make dem waka go another community. Nkpolu no go host that kind business again.

Community Draw Red Line Against Drugs

According to Chamberlain, the community don gree as one body say drugs no go dey Nkpolu again. Anybody wey wan test him destiny with cocaine, loud or any other highness must carry body go outside.
Dem talk say the flogging wey the police officer and him two partners receive na only warning shot. From now, anybody wey dem catch go face the same cane treatment or even bigger wahala.
