Nigerian Police don announce say dem don bust one big petrol smuggling cartel wey dey operate for Sokoto and Katsina states. According to report, the suspects dey move large quantity of fuel go neighbouring countries through illegal routes. The operation na part of government effort to stop fuel scarcity and stop people wey dey spoil Nigeria economy.

The security operatives track the movement of the smugglers for weeks before dem finally strike. As dem catch the criminals, dem also seize many jerry cans and vehicles wey dem dey use to transport the fuel.

Authorities yarn say the criminals dey enrich themselves at the expense of ordinary Nigerians wey dey suffer for high fuel price and scarcity.

IGP Praise Nigerian Police Team Wey Carry Out the Operation

Inspector General of Police don commend the officers wey plan and carry out the successful operation. Him talk say this kain action show say police dey ready to fight illegal activities wey dey disturb Nigeria progress.

The IGP promise say Nigerian Police no go relent until dem dismantle all smuggling networks wey dey operate across border states. He also add say dem go continue to partner with customs and other security agencies to strengthen border security.

According to am, the success for Sokoto and Katsina go serve as warning to other criminals wey still dey plan to continue illegal fuel business.
