Chairman of NDLEA, Brigadier-General Buba Marwa (Retired), hail the officers say dem no just dey do their work — dem dey raise the bar for drug enforcement under President Bola Tinubu’s administration. He talk say the award na way to encourage others make dem double their hustle.
“Under this government, we no dey relax — na full momentum we carry go after drug traffickers,” Marwa talk confidently as people clap and snap pictures.
Tinubu Era Don Bring New Energy to NDLEA War Against Drugs
Since Tinubu enter office, NDLEA don dey operate like machine wey no dey tire — bursting cocaine warehouses, catching traffickers for airports, and destroying cannabis farms across the country.
Marwa yarn say the recognition of officers wey risk their lives na big motivation to keep the tempo high. According to him, many of the awarded officers don lead operations wey save thousands of youths from drug abuse wahala.
He also use the event take remind Nigerians say drug business na national enemy, and every citizen must join hand to support NDLEA mission.
Govment Promise Better Welfare and Promotion for Performing Officers
