Opitan Global Media (OGM) has uncovered shocking details from ongoing police investigations surrounding the tragic demise of the renowned artist, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad (Imole). It has been revealed that Mohbad, who had recently performed in Ikorodu, suffered a brutal assault from individuals who had long tormented him.
This disturbing incident left him with injuries that prompted him to seek medical attention at home. However, a subsequent medical procedure took a dire turn, leading to Mohbad’s untimely death on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

While extending condolences to Mohbad’s family, NANNM emphasized the importance of professionalism in reporting and conducting the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the artist’s death. Furthermore, NANNM lamented the regulatory challenges faced by the Nigerian healthcare system, which have enabled unqualified individuals to assume medical roles for which they lack proper training.

In Nigeria, the path to becoming a recognized nurse requires the completion of a rigorous five-year Bachelor of Nursing Science program at a university, followed by an additional year of internship. Alternatively, individuals can undergo training at accredited Schools/Colleges of Nursing and subsequently become registered and licensed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
