Minister Adegboyega Oyetola, The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy don renew him call make all state governments waka quick stop the use of wooden boats for commercial waka for water. Him talk say wooden boats dey dangerous well well and e fit cause plenty gbege for people wey dey travel by river.

Oyetola talk say make state governments invest for safer options like fibre boats and aluminium boats wey go reduce risk of drowning and accident. E yan say safety for passengers na top priority and dem no suppose joke with am.

Him also add say government dey ready to support states wey go upgrade dem water transport with new technology and better vessels. Minister talk say this move go make water transport beta and secure for all Nigerians wey dey rely on am for daily waka.

State Governments Warned: Wooden Boat Wahala Fit Cost Lives

The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy don sound warning to all state governments across Nigeria. Adegboyega Oyetola talk say if dem no ban wooden boats for commercial water transport, plenty more lives fit lost.
