Na me dey stand for court dey hear as judge dey yan say wetin I talk na “inciting statement.” Dem talk say e fit cause kasala for Sokoto. Before I fit open mouth beg, judge don talk say na two years jail or I pay ₦50k. And make I no forget – 12 strokes join.

I tell dem say I no get ₦50k. I still be student. Na who go dash me that kain money? Dem talk say if I no pay, na koboko go land my body plus two years for back of counter.

As dem drag me comot, I hear people for court dey murmur say the punishment too heavy. Some even cry say dem no believe say person fit collect flogging for talk wey no carry knife.

Na Me Be Victim – But People Don Rise Up

Na me dey prison dey hear say my name dey trend online. People dey shout say wetin happen to me no fair. I happy say Nigerians still get conscience. Youths, lawyers, and human rights people don begin talk my matter.

Dem say make government look into di matter again. Say na freedom of speech I use, and e dey protected by constitution. I never even sabi all those big grammar dem dey talk, but I happy say people dey fight for me.

Even for Sokoto here, some people dey fear to talk now because of wetin happen to me. But others dey say make dem no shut up. As I dey here, I still dey beg make dem free me. I just talk truth, I no be criminal.
