Governor Uba sani Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, denounced the recent assault by bandits on Southern Kaduna communities, resulting in tragic loss of lives and widespread abductions. The assailants’ merciless actions prompted Sani to brand them as ‘beasts in human skin.’

The attacks, detailed by former councilor Aminu Khalid, unfolded in three villages – Ungwan Sako, Kunkurai, and Dokan Kaji – within Dawaki Ward, Kauru local council of Kaduna State. The harrowing account revealed a grim toll: 17 casualties and an alarming 58 individuals feared kidnapped during the terrorists’ invasion.

Khalid’s distressing narrative illuminated the horror faced by locals, recounting a vicious assault by terrorists that saw the loss of lives and the subsequent abduction of numerous residents. Amid a chaotic gun duel, 20 villagers valiantly rescued themselves, albeit at the cost of nine lives.

The recurring attacks on these communities drew an urgent plea from Khalid, emphasizing the necessity for military intervention to safeguard the populace. He spotlighted the origins of the assailants, pinpointing their base at Dutsen Magunguna in Kajuru local council, urging for military action to restore peace.
