Speaking in his hometown, Ikogosi Ekiti, during the 2024 Ikogosi Day celebrations, he underscored the government’s duty to protect its educational assets and prioritize education over the interests of those seeking school venues for personal events. Addressing attendees at the Ikogosi Day event, Governor Biodun Oyebanji shared that the celebration itself adhered to this policy, being held on a private field instead of the originally planned public school location.
