Governor Umo Eno has assured Akwa Ibom residents that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) will guarantee uninterrupted, 24-hour power supply across the state. He explained that the agreement marks a decisive step toward addressing long-standing electricity shortages.
Governor Umo Eno emphasized that stable power is vital for both households and industries, stressing that uninterrupted electricity is a foundation for industrial growth, job creation, and improved quality of life. He noted that the partnership signals his administration’s determination to provide infrastructure that attracts investors and empowers local businesses.
Sustainable Energy and Rural Reach
Governor Umo Eno stated that the MoU will prioritize renewable and sustainable energy solutions, particularly in rural and underserved communities.
