Catholic Diocese Donate Wheelchairs to Sokoto Teaching Hospital – Patients Hail Am as Better Life Support

Na big gbege of joy land for Sokoto Teaching Hospital as Catholic Diocese waka enter with plenty wheelchairs wey dem dash give patients wey dey struggle to move around. The donation come like miracle because many pip wey dey hospital before dey use stick, iron support, or dey depend on person back before dem fit waka small.

The Reverend Father wey represent Diocese talk say the gift na part of the Church mission to show love and care for humanity. “We no fit close eye see pipu dey suffer mobility wahala, na why we bring this small support,” he yarn.

As dem wheel the chairs enter ward, patients begin clap, some even shed small tears of joy. For some, na the first time dem go fit move without heavy struggle.

The Chief Medical Director of Sokoto Teaching Hospital nearly dance azonto as he collect the wheelchairs. He talk say this kain support dey reduce the load wey hospital dey carry. “Na good partnership like this dey make health care sweet for everybody,” the CMD talk.

According to am, the wheelchairs go serve both emergency ward and long-term patients wey dey recover from surgery or accident. He even beg other organizations make dem borrow Catholic Diocese sense and help with more donations like beds, drugs, and equipment.

He round up with prayer for the church say, “As una remember us, God no go forget una too.”

Catholic Diocese Put Smile for Patients Face

Patients no even gree calm down. One elderly mama wey don dey wait for wheelchair since last year shout say, “Ah! Na God send una come. I no go depend on my pikin back again, I fit roll go anywhere I like.”

Another patient wey leg fracture talk say the donation na serious life-changer. “Before, I dey wait for pipu to push me around, but now I fit dey control my own movement. Na freedom be this,” he talk with joy.
