Notably, Koln coach Steffen Baumgart expressed his admiration for Boniface, suggesting that he would have preferred him over Harry Kane if he were in charge at Bayern Munich. Even World Cup winner Lothar Matthäus sees Boniface as a strong contender for the top scorer title, alongside Kane.
