Boko Haram Ambushed Yobe State Governor’s Convoy

The serene return journey of Yobe State Governor Alhaji Mai Mala Buni and dignitaries, including Borno Governor Babagana Zulum, from the University of Maiduguri’s 24th Combined Convocation Ceremony, took a perilous turn. An audacious assault by Boko Haram militants targeted the convoy along the Jakana to Mainok expressway. The attack resulted in six security personnel sustaining injuries, including two soldiers, a driver, and four policemen.
