Uba Sani Predicts Tinubu Will Take 70%–80% Of Kaduna Votes In 2027

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has made a bold prediction about President Bola Tinubu’s prospects in the 2027 presidential election, declaring that the President could secure between 70% and 80% of the votes in Kaduna State. Sani urged residents to remember his prediction as the country moves toward another highly contested presidential election.

“Kaduna, just put it down today that I, Uba Sani, am telling you, Asiwaju will get nothing less than between 70% to 80% of the votes in 2027,” the governor said. The remark has circulated widely online and is consistent with earlier comments by Sani projecting a strong Tinubu performance in Kaduna.

Uba Sani Places Huge Bet On Tinubu’s 2027 Performance

Uba Sani has repeatedly expressed confidence in Tinubu’s political strength in Kaduna and the wider North. In May, the governor said Tinubu would secure at least 70% of the votes in Kaduna if the election were held, describing the state as a strong APC territory and attributing his prediction to what he considers the President’s performance in office.

The latest 70%–80% forecast therefore represents more than an ordinary endorsement. It is a substantial political prediction from a sitting governor whose party, the All Progressives Congress, is seeking to retain the presidency in 2027. Uba Sani is effectively putting his political assessment on record well before voters head to the polls.

TINUBU’S SUPPORT IN KADUNA FACES THE TEST OF THE BALLOT BOX

The prediction comes as political parties and potential presidential contenders gradually position themselves ahead of the 2027 election. While Uba Sani believes Tinubu’s record and the APC’s political structure can deliver a commanding victory in Kaduna, the eventual result will depend on voter turnout, candidates, campaign dynamics and the decisions of Kaduna voters.

It is also worth noting that an electoral prediction is not the same as an election result. The 70%–80% figure remains Uba Sani’s forecast, rather than an established projection from the Independent National Electoral Commission. Kaduna’s electorate will ultimately determine whether the governor’s remarkably high prediction becomes reality.

For Uba Sani, however, the message is clear: he believes President Tinubu has sufficient support in Kaduna to produce an overwhelming victory in 2027. With the election still ahead, his prediction is likely to become one of the figures political observers will revisit when the votes are eventually counted. OGM News NG will continue to follow the evolving 2027 political battle and monitor whether Uba Sani’s 70%–80% Kaduna prediction gains momentum or faces a different reality at the ballot box.
