President Tinubu Says Nigeria Will Crush Chaos “At Any Cost” as He Vows Total Peace Restoration

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to restoring peace, strengthening national security, and expanding economic opportunities for Nigerians. The President’s message was delivered by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, during the memorial event held in honour of former Kogi State Governor, Prince Abubakar Audu, in Lokoja.

Mohammed Idris conveyed the President’s deep respect for the late political icon, describing Audu as a visionary leader who made historic contributions to Kogi State’s socio-economic development. He said the late governor’s legacy remains a reminder of selfless leadership and the importance of nation-building.

According to the Minister, President Tinubu believes Nigeria is at a critical turning point, where peace-building, unity and broad-based prosperity must form the core of national priorities. He noted that the administration is deploying a strategic approach to address insecurity while promoting policies that will create jobs and empower households.

Mohammed Idris emphasized that President Tinubu is deeply concerned about ongoing security challenges and is working tirelessly to stabilise affected regions. The Minister noted that Tinubu remains resolute: no part of Nigeria will be abandoned to criminal elements or instability. He added that the government continues to strengthen collaborations with state governments, traditional institutions, and community security networks to ensure long-term peace.

He further assured the audience that the President’s goal is to guarantee a Nigeria where citizens can live without fear, pursue their livelihoods, and contribute meaningfully to national development.
