First Lady Remi Tinubu don launch one mega project wey worth N2.55 billion to share sanitary pads give secondary school girls across Nigeria. She talk say the aim na to stop “period poverty” wey dey make young girls dey miss class whenever their monthly cycle show.

First Lady Remi Tinubu yarn say education dey important and small thing like lack of sanitary pad no suppose stop girls from reaching their dreams. She talk say the federal government dey fully behind this move to empower the girl child.

Remi Tinubu also explain say this program no just about pad distribution, but na awareness campaign to make menstruation no be taboo for schools again.

First Lady Remi Tinubu reveal say this project go cut across all the 36 states plus FCT to make sure say no girl left behind. She explain say the government don partner with local manufacturers to produce quality and affordable pads for sustainability.

Remi Tinubu also talk say monitoring team go dey visit schools to ensure say the distribution reach the right hands and no go end inside black market. According to her, the main goal na long-term impact for every Nigerian girl.

Remi Tinubu encourage parents and teachers to also join hand in breaking the shame around menstruation, make girls fit focus on their books instead of hiding.
