NNPC GCEO Bayo Ojulari Explodes: Oil Cabals Are Plotting My Removal from NNPCL Leadership

Bayo Ojulari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), has raised serious concerns that powerful interests within and outside the oil sector are plotting to undermine his leadership. Speaking during a strategic industry briefing, he alleged that a network of individuals is orchestrating a campaign to discredit him and destabilize the company.

Bayo Ojulari emphasized that the attacks are not based on incompetence or mismanagement but are instead driven by personal greed and resistance to reforms he has initiated. According to him, the campaign is designed to erode public confidence in his administration and pave the way for his removal.

Bayo Ojulari directly accused entrenched oil cabals of being behind the moves to force him out of office. He explained that these vested interests are uncomfortable with his efforts to sanitize the system, block revenue leakages, and ensure transparency in crude oil sales and subsidy management.

Bayo Ojulari revealed that these groups have historically controlled oil revenues through opaque channels, and his clampdown on their illegal practices has triggered a backlash. He warned that unless Nigerians understand the scale of these conspiracies, the nation’s oil wealth would remain captured by a select few.

Bayo Ojulari defended his leadership, citing reforms he has implemented since assuming office. He highlighted his administration’s push for accountability, digital monitoring of oil production, and new investment strategies aimed at repositioning NNPCL as a profit-driven entity.

Ojulari insisted that his achievements are proof that he is on the right track, despite resistance. He argued that the orchestrated attacks are merely a desperate reaction from those who feel threatened by a culture of transparency and efficiency.

Bayo Ojulari Warns Against Destabilization of Oil Industry

Ojulari cautioned that any attempt to destabilize the leadership of NNPCL would have grave consequences for Nigeria’s economy. He explained that the oil sector remains the backbone of national revenue, and political intrigues within the company could cripple operations and scare away foreign investors.

Bayo Ojulari noted that instability within NNPCL could worsen fuel supply challenges, disrupt the rehabilitation of refineries, and further weaken the naira against the dollar. He appealed for national interest to prevail over selfish plots.

Bayo Ojulari Calls for Public Support Against Conspirators

Ojulari urged Nigerians to rally behind him and resist the manipulation of narratives by those plotting to unseat him. He explained that smear campaigns, false media reports, and sponsored protests have already begun surfacing as part of the strategy to weaken his credibility.

Ojulari stressed that he would remain committed to protecting the commonwealth of Nigerians, but emphasized that citizens must stand alert against the exploitation of oil revenues by powerful elites. According to him, this is no longer a fight about one individual but about the soul of the nation’s economy.

Ojulari Vows to Resist Pressure and Continue Reforms

Ojulari concluded by affirming his determination to resist all forms of pressure and intimidation. He said his leadership is guided by patriotism and the desire to build a legacy of accountability in the oil and gas sector.

Ojulari promised that no matter the scale of the conspiracies, he will continue implementing reforms that prioritize transparency, efficiency, and fairness. His statement has set the stage for what analysts predict could become one of the most contentious leadership battles in Nigeria’s oil industry.
